sometimes i think i'm still broken. i have all these words but what are they worth? stories, everything is just silly stories, do they even mean anything? your words changed my life. they are carved into my heart and memory, they are etched into my skin. mine are cotton candy, chinese food. delicious in the moment, satisfying and then forgotten the next day. and when i try for something better everyone looks the other way. i want to write something real.

snow outside and i'm warm and happy snuggled under the blankets that are not my own. in a place far away that still feels like home. you're asleep ten feet away from me and i wish this weekend didn't have to end.
